Art.Lab Contemporary Art

The Art.Lab Gallery is Italian's gallery for the exhibition of Emerging contemporary art.
It is committed to exhibiting contemporary art of the highest quality, bringing the work of artists with both established and emerging international reputations to Italian and presenting the work of Italian artists in an international context. The Art.Lab Gallery’s exhibitions emphasise new work as part of a consistent and developing artistic practice, and seek to engage new and existing audiences through an integrated education, interpretation and publishing programme.

The Gallery programmes 4-5 exhibitions per year of new and existing work, by Italian and international artists, in solo and group presentations. In keeping with its position as a temporary art space, Art.Lab Gallery sets rigorous standards for evaluating ideas for the creative programme. The curatorial staff of the Gallery undertake ongoing research into contemporary practice, and invite for exhibition artists whose work suits the ambitions and aspirations of artists who participate in the dialogue about what defines contemporary art.
Art.Lab Contemporary Art looks globally for art that represents the most interesting contemporary art being made today.
The gallery artists work in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography and video.
Art.Lab Contemporary Art opened in Grosseto, (IT), in April 2004. The gallery in Grosseto closed in June 2007, for opened in the 2008 Art.Lab Contemporary Residence for Artist, in Murci (IT), 90 mq, close to Scansano and terme of Saturnia, (Tuscany).
And open in March 2012 in Grosseto, in Via Porto Loretano 6.
Art.Lab organized also temporary exhibitions, in collaborations whit istitutions, social onlus, private company and Gallery.

ART.LAB ARTE CONTEMPORANEA

Art.Lab è uno spazio espositivo attivo dal 2004 ad oggi per iniziativa
di Lapo Simeoni.

Situato nel centro storico di Grosseto dal 2004 al 2007 Art.Lab ha ospitato Mostre ed eventi per tre anni, trovando conferme e nuovi impulsi per una costante ricerca nell'arte contemporanea come concetto di comunicazione.
Dal 2007 Art.Lab si trasforma e esponendo in varie città Italiane ed Estere.
Creando nuove collaborazioni con Gallerie ed istituzioni, inizia un percorso basato sul dinamismo, in costante dialogo con gli artisti e con iniziative stimolanti al percorso del progetto.
Sempre nel 2007 Art.Lab arte contemporanea apre " Art.Lab Residenza Temporanea per Artisti" a Murci (Grosseto), uno studio, appartamento di 90mq.
Nel 2009 Art.Lab realizza la mostra 7 Italian Vision, a Basilea (Svizzera), in correlazione ad ARTBASEL|40, creando nuove collaborazioni con istituzioni e collezionisti stranieri.
Nel 2012 apre la Galleria nella nuova sede in VIA PORTO LORETANO 6 a Grosseto,
85 mq di spazio espositivo con ufficio e un magazzino.
